I came across this picture way back on my sister's blog and had to post it. It's from July '07 and the last time all of us were together.
Sad! Over a year and a half! All of us flew home for Vanessa's wedding (can't remember why she's not in this pic- wedding details I'm sure!) and haven't been together since. And that's way too long!
I used to think that living near family would be "okay" but I'd be fine living further away as long as we could visit. Not now!! I would love it if we all lived close enough to spend holidays and birthdays together. Especially now that we have kids. It's so fun to get all the cousins together- even if it is crazy sometimes!! If only we didn't all have to grow up and move away. I'm going to be so sad when my kids leave the house. Today I was thinking about how big Kayla's getting and that before I know it she'll be grown and gone and I just wish she could stay little forever! I don't know how Moms do it!
Speaking of Kayla, while I was browsing photos I found this pic of her from when we lived in Washington. Isn't she such a doll?! It doesn't seem that long ago but she looks so young! I posted a few more of that hiking trip just for fun. Man, we need to get out more! :)
I want to treasure these days when my kids actually want my attention and beg me to spend time with them. Unlike high school when you beg them to spend a day with the family! But I will love every phase of my children's lives. Especially those big puppy eyes. How can one resist?!

Oh, I miss you too!!!!!! SOOOOOO much! I love those pictures of us. I really hate living so far apart too. Hopefully not one day . . . Kayla is such a doll. I love her sweet face and Evan is such a cutie. I miss you so so much!!!!!
My sister and her family moved away from us about a year and a half ago. I miss her like crazy. You and your sisters are so cute!! I love your bridesmaid dresses!! You kids sure a cute!!

I LOVE going through old photos like that...but it can be sad...especially when it's your SISTERS!! :) You are all so dang cute!! Hopefully you can get together soon!!! The old pics of the kids are adorable (of course!) they really have grown up!!

Ok,ok! I miss you all too!!! I figured since all the other sisters commented, I needed to, too! It would be so nice if we could all live close and see each other more often. You all just need to move back to Wyoming! It really is the best state. We could go visit the other states occationally... but mom and I are still here in WY, so we out number you all, WY wins! I will be expecting your imagrations withing the next 3 years! Love you all!
