Evan's birthday was interesting this year. The poor kid got sick with a fever! Of course I was stressed because of his seizures, but his temperature stayed low and I had his medicine this time which was a huge relief. He was feeling better by the end of the day so we let him open his presents but opted to have cake the following day. But he didn't seem to mind- he only ate the frosting anyway! And after all that hard work! ;)
Since we had a baseball theme for Evan, I had to make him his very own baseball blanket. It's still a little warm for it here but he loves to cuddle up on the couch for a movie with his blankie.
Evan loves his new trike! But since he happens to be a little midget (such a cutie!) he can't reach the pedals yet. But that didn't seem to matter- he loves running around just using his feet. He's gotten pretty fast on it too! Watch out Fred Flinstone!!

Have you talked to Lindsay about the seizures? With the stress of them, I think their should be some kind of support for parents whose children go through them, febrile or not.
That is so scary. I cannot believe how much your oldest looks like you!! WOw! (sorry I totally blanked on her name...Kylie??)
yay for updates! :) Happy belated birthday to Ethan! Great job on the cake and the cute blanket!!
oops!! hahaha, I put Ethan. It didn't seem right when I typed it...but it's late...SORRY!! Happy belated bday EVAN!!!
Hey lefty. I have talked to Lindsay about them, when they lived by us. It actually made me a little more nervous, since Noah's started as febrile seizures too. None of Evan's EEGs, MRIs, etc showed anything either so we'll see if he just grows out of them. When I talked to Lindsay last he'd only had one episode (4 seizures within a few days) but then he had another one a little while back. The thing with Evan's is that they're complex febrile seizures, so they last up to 25 mins, which can be scary!! Anyway, didn't mean to ramble on so long. We're actually taking Evan this week to the same neurologist Lindsay takes Noah too. Small world, huh?
