Little Lauren

I know, two posts in one day! But I needed to add an update on Lauren. So here's a few pics of her from the last few weeks. She is such a sweetie and loves to smile at us. And laugh. Only her laugh sounds more like a cough. She can't quite figure it out. Funny girl! She's growing like crazy and is in the 90th percentile for height. Where'd that come from?! Not her mama! I'm afraid poor Evan is doomed to be the shortest in the family. Well, after me that is. ;)

Smiling at dad. She'll smile even if she just hears his voice. It's so cute.

Such cute girls! I love doing matching dresses for sisters! I know, they'll hate it when they're older. I can't help it! I guess it's the twin in me.

Picture Tag

Bree tagged me a while back for this so I'm finally getting around to it. You have to go to the fourth folder in your pictures, and then choose the fourth picture in the file. Since my computer has fizzled out, I'm on Ryan's and here's the picture I came back with-

I know, exciting right??! Not sure what that is, or if I can get sued for posting pics off his work computer (shhh) but since that wasn't entertaining enough, I went to the fourth folder, fourth file under his personal pictures and came back with this-

Ahh, much better. This was a while ago as you can see, right after we moved here last year. Kayla had so much fun checkin' out the jobsite with Daddy. She really is a daddy's girl. It was pretty cold and she got blisters on her heels because her boots were getting too small, but she hardly complained! Ryan did get in trouble however for bringing her home cold and blistered. In his defense he really didn't know since she didn't say much, only that her feet hurt, so I guess I can't give him too much of a hard time. Poor kid though!

I tag Lindsay (both of you), Kimberlee, Carissa, Tiffanie and Lonni.

I'm Back!!

Okay, so I finally decided to quit being lazy and add some new posts- even if I don't have a new monitor!! I'm forced to use Ryan's slow laptop, but I need to add something new! So here's what we've been up to over the past few weeks, er, month. I guess it really has been that long!

Evan's Birthday!

Evan's birthday was interesting this year. The poor kid got sick with a fever! Of course I was stressed because of his seizures, but his temperature stayed low and I had his medicine this time which was a huge relief. He was feeling better by the end of the day so we let him open his presents but opted to have cake the following day. But he didn't seem to mind- he only ate the frosting anyway! And after all that hard work! ;)

Since we had a baseball theme for Evan, I had to make him his very own baseball blanket. It's still a little warm for it here but he loves to cuddle up on the couch for a movie with his blankie.

Evan loves his new trike! But since he happens to be a little midget (such a cutie!) he can't reach the pedals yet. But that didn't seem to matter- he loves running around just using his feet. He's gotten pretty fast on it too! Watch out Fred Flinstone!!

Craigslist Find

Okay, so I was scanning craigslist.com for some backyard toys and came across a little red slide for Evan. So for $5 I told Ryan we had to go pick it up. Well, over a HALF AN HOUR drive later! (the guy told us he was close but was practically in the next city limits) we finally made it to the guy's house. So was it worth it? Well, Evan sure thinks so!! Kayla's a little big but she couldn't help joining in on the fun.

Best Buddies

Here's a few random shots of the kids. Kayla and Evan are so cute together! They really are best friends. And of course Kayla LOVES helping with Lauren. She's such a little mommy!

Evan is such a cheeseball! And here's Kayla modeling her favorite new hairstyle. She calls it her "flower hair." Not quite sure where the name came from!

Lauren already looks a lot bigger then these pictures! She such a sweet little girl. And here's Evan "hining" (hiding) as he calls it with Kayla's "Know white." He actually loves her princesses and babies and pushes them around in strollers all the time. Shh, don't tell Ryan!
