Casting Call

Kayla thinks she is so darn cute (I have to agree with her). She LOVES to pose for the camera and volunteers for pictures all the time. So here's a few pics of her in her new fall clothes she modeled for Dad and Grandma. She absolutely loved this hat and had to have it. Isn't she adorable?

Evan felt left out and decided he needed in on the action. Without a word from anyone, he laid down and struck this pose. I could barely catch him before he moved (he is an ACTIVE boy after all) but it was hilarious to see him imitate his big sis.

Speaking of posing, here's a random shot I took of the kids a few months back. And this was completely candid. Evan really loves his "sissy".

Alfalfa Festival

I know, you can't believe it either, but it really is called the Alfalfa Festival- and in California too! Who knew! We barely made it to the fair this year since we just had Lauren, but we did manage to make it on the very last day. Although we didn't last more then a few hours. It was HOT!!

Should I stay or should I go? Evan couldn't figure out if he liked this ride or not. And he loves cars! Like his gangster trucker hat? We left his hat at home on accident and were hard-pressed to find one at the fair, but Grandma did find this one. It was the only hat that fit him. It's actually pretty cute!!

Just a boy & a girl in a little canoe, & the moon was shining all around . . .
Okay, so it wasn't the moon, it was the hot California sun, but you get the idea!

Got milk?? Ryan loves antique cars (it's a family thing) and his dad restores old gas pumps so of course we had to take a picture by the "Milk Wagon." Remind you of anything, nursing moms??! LOL, I couldn't resist.

The fair royalty handed out crowns to all the "princesses" arriving. Kayla loved hers so much she had to wear it the entire day. And the next, and the next. . . . .

Lauren Sandra Haughton

We blessed Lauren this Sunday and she looked just like a little doll in her blessing dress that my Mom made! We were really glad that Ryan's Mom Sandy could be here (whose middle name Lauren shares). Kayla wore this same dress on her Blessing day. I will put some more pictures of Lauren on here soon!
